Luke Cage Teaser Trailer

Here is a teaser trailer/audition reel we did for our good friend and Fresno native Eric Thomas Wilson. We shot the majority of this in LA in a large studio and the remainder at a bar in Hollywood. It was great to work with a lot of new people on this project and a pleasure to make new friendships. We shot everything in 2 days with our RED One UHD 4k camera and Canon L series lens package. Cinematography by Ian and Justin McAleece. Jeff Smith, Ryan Najibi and Anthony Galland made up the G&E crew and the post fx and finishing was completed masterfully by our partner Jason Sanders of Cinescope Media. If everything goes well we’ll be working on the full feature with Eric Thomas Wilson starring as LUKE CAGE.

Who is Luke Cage? (According to Wikipedia)

Luke Cage, also known as Power Man is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by Archie Goodwin, John Romita, Sr. and George Tuska, he first appeared in Luke Cage, Hero for Hire #1 (June 1972). Imprisoned for a crime he did not commit, he gains superpowers in the form of unbreakable skin and superhuman strength. The character frequently teams up with fellow superhero and close friend Iron Fist, and is married to Jessica Jones, with whom he has a daughter. In 2005, writer Brian Michael Bendis added Luke Cage to the lineup of the New Avengers, and he has appeared in various Avengers titles since.

Actor Mike Colter played the character in the first season of Jessica Jones, a live-action television series set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe; and will headline his own series, which will premiere September 30, 2016. Colter is set to reprise his role in The Defenders. Read More
